Τού Προφήτου σου Αββακούμ τήν μνήμην, Κύριε, εορτάζοντες, δι' αυτού σε δυσωπούμεν, Σώσον τάς ψυχάς ημών.

Ὡς ἵππους ἑώρακας τοὺς ἱεροὺς Μαθητάς, θαλάσσας ταράσσοντας, τῆς ἀγνωσίας σαφῶς, καὶ πλάνην βυθίζοντας, δόγμασιν εὔσεβείας, Ἀββακοὺμ θεηγόρε, ὅθεν σε ὡς Προφήτην, ἀληθῆ εὐφημοῦμεν, αἰτούμενοι τοῦ πρεσβεύειν ἐλεηθῆναι ἡμᾶς.
