Ἀγελάρχης ἐδείχθης τοῦ Ἀρχιποίμενος, μοναστῶν τὰς ἀγέλας Πάτερ Παχώμιε, πρὸς τὴν μάνδραν ὁδηγῶν τὴν ἐπουράνιον, καὶ τὸ πρέπον ἀσκηταῖς, ἐκεῖθεν σχῆμα μυηθείς, καὶ τοῦτο πάλιν μυήσας, νὺν δὲ σὺν τούτοις ἀγάλλη, καὶ συγχορεύεις ἐν οὐρανίαις σκηναίς.
