September 18, 2002, marks the third anniversary of the Enthronement of His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios as the sixth Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church in America. On that day thousands of Orthodox faithful, Hierarchs, and Clergy joined with other dignitaries and guests for ceremonies that included a majestic procession, an introduction ceremony, a message from His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and the Enthronement and Address of Archbishop Demetrios.
