As members of God’s Apostolic Church, we are called to demonstrate faith in tangible ways and bear witness to the light that is within us by following Christ’s superb example of ministry and diaconia. We are called to be Christ’s ambassadors and good stewards of God’s love, in a context of an ever-changing world. Therefore, we are compelled to reflect on how to best reach out to those in need of His care, light and compassion. We need to respond to the challenge—as a parish, [metropolis] and Archdiocese—of more effectively offering the ministry that best supports the true work of the Church. . . May the . . .Yearbook serve as a validation and an affirmation of what is possible through the commitment, sacrifice and love of generations past and present embracing the sacred mission of the Church. May it serve as well as a baseline for exponential growth and progress in offering ministry and diaconia for the new millennium of Orthodoxy.
